Dan you won't find anything here about where to find the censored parts. They should have censored the whole show. They made a complete joke of where they were - Seaside Heights.

I noticed the following article on the Star Ledger website...

Seaside Heights officials distance themselves from 'Jersey Shore' reality show

SEASIDE HEIGHTS – Borough officials have released a statement distancing themselves from the MTV reality show “Jersey Shore,” according to a report by the Asbury Park Press.

John Camera, borough administrator, is quoted as saying that the officials do not participate nor condone the derogatory remarks against Italian Americans filmed in the show, the report said. Camera continued by saying the actions of the cast are not "indicative" of the majority of people who visit the New Jersey shore every summer, according to the report.

However, since they censor their viewer comments, I was unable to post my thoughts on the issue, because it seems they would not approve my comments. Below are my comments

How about issuing a statement about the outrage toward how this show has denigrated the WHOLE Jersey Shore to an international audience, affected people's views about vacationing here, making New Jerseyans, even though all the cast members are basically from New York, a laughing stock to the world. The only media attention it seems and only outrage is toward "Italian-Americans", of which I am one - but I am a New Jerseyan first and I am outraged by the negative comments being made about New Jersey and New Jerseyans on messageboards, facebook, etc because of this ridiculous show.

The article was actually taken from the Asbury Park Press where I was able to post my comments - Seaside officials distance borough from 'Jersey Shore'

I don't think that news sites, that allow commenting - should censor user comments, unless they are attacking or spam. Censored viewer comments can give a distorted picture of how the general public feels about an issue based on the comments that appear under a news article.
